Science Experiments & Amusements for Children is hands down the easiest, best, and most fun science experiments book for home or school I have ever seen. This book is still available for sale online, although the copyright is 1967. Just a note, I am not an Amazon affiliate. I didn’t even begin teaching until many years later, but this book delighted all my classes for many years. The experiments are simple enough to be used as fillers, or to brighten up the day at school or home. Parents and teachers can entertain and teach with these simple activities. Most experiments are one page long with a picture.

I eagerly bought all kinds of science experiment books that I won’t name, but none were ever as simple and fun as this book. Hey, it is one cent on Amazon used books and you can’t go wrong. Children up through fifth grade would benefit from use of this book. Older children could do the experiments themselves and demonstrate them to others. Really!
