The Berenstain Bears Go Back to School

by Stan, Jan, and Mike Berenstain

During summer break, the bear cubs begin to worry about the upcoming school year.  Who will their teachers be?  Will they get in trouble with the principal?  Will they be on sports teams?   Of course, when they get to school everything works out and the worries were for nothing.  This is a good book to read during the school year when things are fine, to reassure children that this worry happens before each school year and things work out like right now!  A good thing to tell children who are nervous is that it means they are excited and about to try something new.
