how this blog was made

However, just having a WordPress blog and or a hosted website is the beginning of the process of having a blog.  Carolyn hired Kenna Stafford of Project 3 Designs for graphic design help on the blogs and website, and even that was a process as I asked her to make changes when changes were needed.  Kenna is patient and helpful.  She does NOT repeat a design so everyone who hires her gets a new blog design which is wonderful.  Her prices are on her blog, as are many samples of her wonderful work.

A graphic artist isn’t the only thing a blog or website requires.  Wanting certain capabilities and changes from the standard templates, Carolyn hired Boreal.org’s code writer to help.  Boreal.org make the template fixed so that every time WordPress updates the blog will remain the same.  This was wonderful because when WordPress updated, the colors and certain things Carolyn had changed would revert to the template original.  It is great to have a reliable design that doesn’t change back to where a blog was started.  Boreal helped in several technical ways.  They are easy to work with and make free estimates.

The entire WordPress process began when Carolyn read a book, Teach Yourself Visually WordPress by Janet Majure.  Carolyn is NOT an affiliate and earns no money from sales of this book.  Carolyn read it until she had it memorized and it really helped.

Carolyn is not an affiliate of Project 3 Designs.  She is not an affiliate of Boreal Sites.   She is not an affiliate for Network Solutions.  She just highly recommends these services because it worked for her blogs and website.  Thank you!
