Pumpkin-Fall Theme Educational Round Up
This is a round-up post about the pumpkin and fall thematic educational products by the Teaching Friends. We hope you find some things that will help in your classroom. First, a pumpkin freebie and song by Tonya Dirksen (who has a beautiful voice) at Strings, Keys, and Melodies. There is a YouTube video and free printable at this blog post.
Now that you are in a fall mood, Jackie Higgins would like to share her pumpkin unit available at Teachers Pay Teachers. Check out this blog post with a contest to try to win this and other units, if you are interested.
Jackie Higgins also has a free idea as part of her Word Work Wednesdays, Five Little Pumpkins Activities. It looks easy to make and fun to use. Lyrics are included in the post, and other engaging activities.
Fern Smith knows teachers like to bake and share at this time of the year, and she has a recipe for Chocolate Chip Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins at this blog post. Something different and nice! We wish we could share them with all of you.
FREE–Over at Teacher Park by Ruth S, Madame Periwinkle needs your students’ help! Her favorite Halloween Brew recipe card was torn into strips and she needs your students to help her put them back in the correct sequential order! Sequencing is such an important student skill, and it is great when the practice can be so fun.
FREE–Here is a free 4 Funny Pumpkins Pocket Chart set by Ingles 360, which has products in English and in Spanish.
Ingles 360 has a corresponding file folder set, also free.
A Series of Third Grade Events has a lovely priced product, Life Cycle of a Pumpkin, on Teachers Pay Teachers.
A Series of Third Grade Events also has a freebie for you! Prefix Pumpkins:
